With a safe children’s area crammed full of activities for your little ones situated right next to the family campsite, this is the perfect place to bring your family.
There are also a number of workshops and activities for teens spread throughout the site, including ‘Somewhere’ – a fantastic designated area for 13-17 year olds with a huge range of activities including circus skills, film making, football tournaments and much more.

Curious Arts Festival
With an area dedicated to rides for the kids where you can buy a wrist band which can be used all day, your kids aren’t going to get bored at Curious Arts Festival!
There is a designated area within the trees for activities such as storytelling, magic shows, face painting and pottery as well as loads more.
There is so much for kids to make see and do at Curious Arts; you won’t want to be anywhere else this summer holiday!

Broadstairs Folk Week
Broadstairs Folk Week has a huge range of activities for kids and is certainly one you don’t want to miss! Clarence the Festival Dragon will make an appearance and with workshops in a wide range of activities including music, circus skills and Morris Dancing, regular story times, a creative tent, magic shows and more, your little ones won’t know what to do next!
Take the family for a fun filled day, weekend or even a whole week!
5-12 August 2016
Camp Bestival is hugely devoted to kids – with many areas and activities for them to run free and feel safe.
In the Upper Kids Garden there are circus skills to learn, a bouncy castle, bikes and go-karts to ride, special toddler’s area and ‘Breastival’- the mother and baby chill out area.
There is also a Lower Kids Garden for the slightly older children with an insect circus, art town for them to release their inner artist, fairground rides, face painting, soft play and a sandpit for under 5’s.
Activities aren’t just confined to these areas and are scattered throughout the site so no matter where you want to go, your kids can find something close by!
28-31 July 2016
Lulworth Castle, Dorset
Deer Shed Festival
Kids are welcome anywhere at Deer Shed Festival so there are no specific areas for the little ones, but with comedy, theatre, spoken word and literary performances, science workshops, sports to take part in and music performances, there’s almost too much to fit into one weekend!
This year they have a special workshop with Aardman – the creators of Wallace & Gromit & Shaun The Sheep where kids can make their own Shaun or Gromit to take home!
22-24 July 2016
Baldersby Park, Topcliffe, North Yorkshire
Larmer Tree Festival
The family lawns is the place your kids will want to be at Larmer Tree Festival. With shows, dance, puppetry, mini-gigs, craft and music workshops and their very popular bubble disco there’s everything your kids could possibly want throughout the weekend.
Activities kick off on Thursday afternoon for kids of all ages including The Nest – an area specifically designed for under 5s to enjoy.
